On Sunday, October 18, at 9:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, we will welcome the Venerable Maha Dam Phommasan, a Buddhist monk who one of the monks who participated in the national Peace Walk last year. During the early days of the walk, he was struck by a vehicle and badly injured, eventually requiring the amputation of his leg. This last spring, the Mercer On Mission prosthetics team fit Maha Dam with a prosthetic leg and a friendship began with University Minister and FBCX member Craig McMahan. Craig will interview Maha Dam about his experience and his story. All are welcome to join us!
